PREVENT

Drink 1 x 20ml QuickFix SHOT or 10-20ml about 5 minutes before running or when you normally cramp. Most runners drink one shot at around the 30 km mark and will save one just in case they cramp at the end. If you are running long distance, drink one shot every 40-60 minutes to prevent cramps from returning.

RELIEVE

Drink 15-20ml of CrampFix® at the first signs of cramping for rapid relief within 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

RECOVER

Drink 10ml of CrampFix® after running to prevent post-exercise cramps and to reduce muscle tightness. If you struggle with night cramps after a run, keep a bottle beside your bed or try our Rapid Mouth Spray.

How It Works

CrampFix® treats muscle cramps through the neuro-muscular system. Instead of treating the cramping muscle itself as most commonly done, CrampFix® treats the overactive nerves that are causing the muscles to cramp.

Drinking 10-20mL of CrampFix® stimulates the sensory nerves in the mouth and throat. A signal is then sent through the spinal cord to inhibit the overactive nerve signals. The overactive nerve signals going from the nerves to the cramping muscle are interrupted and the cramp is rapidly relieved or prevented.

Our Formula

CrampFix®’s proprietary formula has been created to contain just the right blend of astringency, pH and mineral content to provide rapid relief. Unlike some cramp management products, CrampFix® is a no-mix, liquid formula that provides an almost immediate effect to get rid of cramps that most commonly appear during endurance activities.

Our formula was specially developed to help high performing athletes to achieve their performance goals. Other cramp relief products on the market such as magnesium supplements, quinine and sodium may assist in preventing cramps; however, these are useless at the time of cramping due to the required time to digest and provide relief. CrampFix® works within 1-2 minutes to alleviate cramps.

CrampFix® is a concentrated proprietary blend so only small doses are required to get rid of muscle cramps. Our sports range has three flavours available; Lemon, Raspberry, & Espresso. All products are 100% natural, gluten-free, & vegan, and are made in Australia to HACCP quality standards. This highly effective formula is Informed Sport accredited, meaning every batch is tested for banned substances for athletes’ assurance.

Testimonials

GWS GIANTS AFL TEAM PLAYER – ZAC LANGDON

“I started experiencing cramps when I was about 14-15 years old. Since then I had tried multiple things such as magnesium, salts and was constantly told I must not be hydrated enough. I tried for years and made a conscious effort to drink water and electrolytes, but I still struggled with cramps.

Cramps generally affect me late in the game mostly in the last quarter and CrampFix is actually making a huge difference.

I take it as soon as I feel a cramp coming on or get fatigued and it seems to postpone/get rid of the cramping all together”.

GWS GIANTS AFL TEAM PLAYER – NATHAN WILSON

“Hi, I’m Nathan Wilson from the GIANTS. I’ve suffered from muscle cramping since I was 13 years old. For many years cramping has been a real problem for me affecting my calves and groins, sometimes making it difficult to perform my best in games. For the past three years, I have been using CrampFix before the game or at half time to help me prevent and deal with cramps. As a professional athlete, I like products that are easy to use and effective…”

“… CrampFix does the job so I can get on with focusing on what I need to do in a game and not worrying that cramping will affect me.”

FAQ

Jessica Spendlove is an Advanced Sports Dietician for the GWS Giants and uses CrampFix to relieve muscle cramps for professional athletes so they can get back on the field as quickly as possible.

Why do players cramp even though they have been training & doing all the right things in regards to nutrition?

Cramping is so multifactorial and there is no one single reason for cramping. It now appears at a physiological level that cramping is due to the central nervous system as opposed to the muscle. The reason from cramping can be due to factors such as weather, match fitness, ground hardness, nutrition, hydration, electrolytes, injury history to name a few. Some factors are controllable, and some are not. It is important to make sure you control the controllables.

How do these players use CrampFix?

I have a number of athletes who use CrampFix in different ways, shapes and form. Some athletes who are more prone to cramping like to use CrampFix preventatively which might include on the bench during rotations (AFL) and during breaks. I have other athletes who use it when they feel like they are cramping. Most prefer to swish it in their mouth and spit it out, but I also have a number of players who drink it. They have practised using it in training.

How soon does a player get back on the field after cramping?

As soon as the cramp is being managed or under control. This will also depend on rotation, but generally, once CrampFix has been consumed, along with any other fluids or products needed, and some treatment on the sideline, they are good to go.

Does CrampFix help with recovery?

Preventing a player from cramping can help their recovery so in that way, yes it can.  Priority nutrition areas post-game is protein, electrolytes, carbohydrates and fluid.
