From Burleigh Heads to 15 Nations: leading Australian sports nutrition brand Fixx Nutrition prepares for 10th anniversary milestone amid international expansion

Gold Coast, Queensland - What began in 2017 as a targeted operational fix for muscle cramping has evolved into one of Australia’s fastest-growing sports nutrition export stories, with its products on offer worldwide - including the United States.
As Burleigh Heads-based Fixx Nutrition approaches its pending 10th anniversary, the family-founded enterprise is reporting significant market penetration across major retail networks and international distribution channels.
Unlike many consumer goods brands that outsource production offshore to maximise initial margins, Fixx Nutrition established and retained 100 per cent of its manufacturing operations within its dedicated Burleigh Heads facility on the Gold Coast.
According to Fixx Nutrition Co-founder, Michelle Buchegger, the strategic decision to maintain sovereign manufacturing under HACCP and Informed Sport accreditation has enabled the company to maintain strict quality control, iterate product formulations rapidly, and capitalise on Australia's high-standing global reputation for clean, compliant food manufacturing.

The brand's commercial trajectory has been further bolstered by major event partnerships, including serving as the Official Sports Nutrition Partner for major endurance events such as the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon, where its products fuel over 42,000 runners annually along the course.
With an expanding product portfolio featuring rapid-action cramp relief (CrampFix), endurance drink mixes (Fuel X), energy gels (Gel X Pro), and portable caffeine shots (Cold Brew), Fixx Nutrition is positioned to accelerate its international expansion as it enters its second decade of operation.
