Fixx Nutrition Celebrates Successful Brisbane Marathon Partnership with Atlas Events, Announces Expanded Queensland Race Calendar

Australian sports nutrition brand caps off a landmark day at the 34th Brisbane Marathon Festival and looks ahead to three more Queensland events this winter

Fixx Nutrition, the Australian sports nutrition brand headquartered in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, has wrapped up a successful partnership at the 2026 EVA Air Brisbane Marathon Festival. The event, held on Sunday, 7 June 2026 and organised by Atlas Events, drew thousands of runners through Brisbane’s most iconic landscapes for the 34th year running.

As an official event partner, Fixx Nutrition provided on-course nutrition support to athletes tackling distances from the full marathon down to the community fun run. Runners fuelled with the brand’s Gel X Pro energy gels and Fuel X endurance drink mix as they passed the Story Bridge, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, New Farm and Teneriffe on a course that showcased the best of Brisbane’s riverfront.

A Queensland Partnership Built on Shared Values

The Brisbane Marathon Festival is the flagship event for Atlas Events, one of Australia’s premier running event organisers. Both organisations are proudly Queensland-based, and the partnership reflects a shared commitment to growing the state’s running community from the Gold Coast to Cairns.

For Fixx Nutrition, the Brisbane Marathon represents more than a sponsorship. It is a chance to put products into the hands of the athletes they are made for, in real race conditions where performance matters most. Expanded Queensland Race Calendar: Three Events to Come

The Brisbane Marathon marks the opening chapter of an expanded Fixx Nutrition and Atlas Events partnership across Queensland’s 2026 winter race season. Three more events follow in quick succession, each offering athletes the same on-course nutrition support.

Hervey Bay Half Marathon Festival: 21 June 2026

The inaugural Hervey Bay Half Marathon Festival brings competitive running to the Fraser Coast for the first time. The 21.1 km course follows the coastline past calm waters and iconic piers, capturing the laid-back seaside character that makes Hervey Bay one of Queensland’s most popular destinations. Proceeds support Ronald McDonald House Charities (South East Queensland). Fixx Nutrition is confirmed as a partner for the event.

Cairns Marathon Festival: 12 July 2026

The Cairns Marathon Festival offers five race distances, from the full marathon down to a 2 km event open to families, prams and wheelchair participants. Based at Fogarty Park with a festival hub featuring live entertainment, the event showcases the best of tropical North Queensland. Proceeds support Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia and its Palm Cove retreat. Fixx Nutrition will provide on-course nutrition across all distances.

Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival: 2 August 2026

One of Australia’s most loved running festivals returns on 2 August 2026. The Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival is AIMS certified and offers distances from the full marathon to a 2 km community event. The flat course at Alexandra Headland runs along white sandy beaches in near-perfect Queensland winter conditions: blue skies, low humidity and mild temperatures. The half marathon follows a single-loop course, while the marathon combines a 21 km leg with two 10.5 km loops. The festival has raised over $1.6 million for charity since its inception. Fixx Nutrition is confirmed as a nutrition partner for the event.
